Thomas Beardmore, the fourth son of William and Mary, was born at Audley on April 7th 1789 and baptised at Talke on April 26th.

We’ve not been able to find out much about Thomas. We understand that he was an Engineer and Ironfounder. His wife’s name was Mary, or Margaret, and we know from family records that they had two children: Thomas, born in 1813, and George, born in 1815. We think that there was also a third son: Francis, born in 1826.

We don’t have a reliable date of death for Thomas, but based on his sister Mary’s will it appears that he died before 1860.
